Natalia Cuneo

If you talk to Brian or I on a regular basis we try to explain what it is like to live with Natalia. She is constantly entertaining and tiresome all at the same time. This picture just personifies Natalia. She demanded to wear those socks and shoes, picked up the purse and then posed with her foot up so we could take the picture. She also rides a scooter like no other 21 month old I know. The video shows her riding it at the Chatsworth Lane Labor Day block party. Enjoy!

First Day of School

It was Alexa's first day of school at the end of August. She looks so grown up in her uniform. Here are a couple of pictures from that morning

Summer Catch Up - June

June flew by! We planted trees, we had the St. Pius festival, Alexa had her last day of school, and we hosted Tim and Chris' wedding shower with Brian's parents. It was a very busy month. Picture time!

Summer Catch Up - July

We started July with a family fun day of hiking that ended with us figuring out that Natalia gets car sick. We were on our way home and we arrived at the top of the mountain and Natalia threw up. It was really gross and I felt so bad for her because she did not understand what was happening. Up next was the 4th of July run. We did well, the whole family finished again this year! The following weekend we went to the Giants game thanks to the Conways and got to see the no-hitter! It was a very fun game, although I have to admit I didn't watch a whole bunch of the game. We ended the month with a family visit and Whispering Pines (more detail in the next post).

Hiking in the woods. This was pre- car sick.
Alexa after her first lap.

Watching the parade. Natalia are you in there?

After the game. All of the birds come off of the bay and eat. It is neat to look at.

Summer Catch Up Post - May - SD Trip #1

So I am obviously not very good at updating the blog. But due to some peer pressure I received this weekend, I felt I owed a catch up post....so here it goes. I figured I would break up the catch up posts between major events over the summer.

May was sandwiched with two trips to San Diego. The first one was for my best friend's Sarah's wedding which happened to be on my 30th birthday. It was great to share her big day and it made the whole day even more special to be with my family and all of my HS friends. The plan was to fly into OC, drop Natalia off with my sister and brother, and then Brian, Lex and I headed down to La Jolla. The first day was a little rough for Natalia, so she committed the ultimate faux pas and showed up to the wedding without being invited. :) Here are some pictures from the wedding. It was actually very fun to have both of the girls there on my birthday. We had a blast.

We made it to Orange County. First plane flight with the whole family.

Rehearsal. The flower girl and her godmother(the bride). All ready for the wedding. Alexa was absolutely beautiful!
Natalia at the reception. It was a very different wedding experience with a toddler.

Summer Catch Up - May SD Trip #2

The next SD trip was for Stephen's (Brian's brother) graduation. The Cuneo's rented a condo on the bay side of San Diego and we had a fabulous time. We rented cruisers, went to the zoo, played in the sand and celebrated his graduation.

Playing in the sand when we first got there.

The graduate and his nieces.

Ready for our cruise. We loved it so much, we bought crusiers when we got home.

Next up will be June. Stay tuned.

Natalia in Daddy's shoes

Last night Natalia insisted on putting on Brian's shoes. She then wanted to go visit her sister who was in the bath tub at the time. Here is a picture and some video. In the second video she starts to get super frustrated that they are coming off.
