Alexa's Christmas Concert

Alexa had her Christmas program on Thursday. I tried to take some video, but didn't do so well. Be prepared to get a little sick.

Alexa's Award Ceremony

On Monday, December 8th, Alexa received an award from the city of Redwood City for a poster contest. She got second place. She got to meet the mayor and the rest of the city council.

Every year Alexa goes to the city with Grandma Ellen for tea. She absolutely loves it. Here are some pictures of Alexa all dressed up for her big outing.

Natalia rides a scooter

First of all, I finally figured out how to get a cuter template as my background! It took awhile! :)

Anyways...a couple of weeks ago when we went to pick up Natalia at Ta Ta's, she has been outside playing. She walks around, plays with a soccer ball, etc. But her favorite thing to do is get pushed on the scooter. We took Alexa's old scooter down and just set in the garage. Natalia walks right over and climbs on it and wants to be pushed. Here is a video.

Halloween

Halloween was very fun this year. We had a visit from our cousin Ashley, Payton and Grandma Suz. Natalia enjoyed having her skunk costume on and Alexa made the cutest nurse. Here are a couple of pictures from Halloween.

This last weekend was very eventful. There was Halloween, a visit from our cousins and Natalia decided to start walking and clapping! Here is a video of her walking and one of her walking and clapping.

Alexa has lost her two front teeth!

Alexa has lost her two front teeth and she is about to lose more of her bottom teeth. Here is a picture of her without her teeth.

Natalia's latest trick

Alexa and I went to pick up Natalia from Ta Ta's on Friday and she had a new trick. Please turn down the volume because I use the same high pitched scream from when she started crawling. Actually I am louder in this one.

So then of course, we got out Alexa's old shopping cart and she tried it at home....don't worry I didn't scream this time.

Alexa starts first grade!

Alexa is now a very big first grader. Here are a couple of pictures of her first day!

August full of family

We had quite the month with tons of visits from my family. Uncle Jeff made the trip up and we took Alexa to the Giants game. Alexa got her first ride on the train. It was a good game and we had great seats!

Then Reagan and Grandma Suz came up for a visit. We had a very fun weekend. On Saturday we took the ferry across the bay to Tiburon for a lunch at Sam's. The girls loved the ferry. Here are a couple of pictures from that trip.

Alexa's hula hooping skills

So Lexi took up hula hooping last week and has since become an expert. She treated everyone at the Pines with shows. She walked from cabin to cabin hula hooping. We are very proud of our little hula hooper! :) Also, she was getting quite tired of the blog only having videos of her sister. So here she is...

Whispering Pines 2008

We had a great time up in Whispering Pines. Alexa was up there for a whole week and cried very hard when it came time to leave. Here are a couple of pictures from the trip.

Natalia can pull herself up in her crib!

Natalia started to crawl in the middle of last week, but we have quickly come to find out it was purely for crawling herself to things she can pull herself up on. Here is a video of her in her crib. I started the camera after she had pulled herself up though, but you can tell how excited she is.

She is legitmately crawling now. You might want to turn the volume down, because I get excited in a very high pitched voice at the end of the tape.
